Kiek in de Kök Fortifications Museum forms a complex over 500 m long, encompassing four medieval towers: the Kiek in de Kök cannon tower, the Maiden Tower, the Marstal (Stable Tower) Tower, and the Short Leg Gate Tower. The museum introduces the city's historical fortifications, the townspeople's homes built in the towers and along the wall, the artists who lived in the tower, and the Maiden Tower café. The museum also continues with the 17th-century bastion passages underground, where the Carved Stone Museum is located.
Everything is connected by a wall passage, which offers a beautiful view of Tallinn's Old Town!
The museum can be visited as a whole or in parts.
