20th-Century Furniture Design Classic Exhibition “Eames Roadshow”

At the Design and Architecture Gallery in Tallinn, an international exhibition, “Eames Roadshow,” is dedicated to one of the most influential designer duos of the 20th century, Charles and Ray Eames.

The creative partnership of Charles and Ray Eames was extremely prolific, encompassing architecture, product design from furniture to toys, photography, filmmaking, and exhibition design.

Curated by the Swiss design brand Vitra, the Eames Roadshow focuses on one of the most fruitful and still relevant areas of the Eames’ work – furniture design. The installation offers design enthusiasts and members of the architecture and design community an opportunity to immerse themselves in the colourful and creative world of the Eameses.

The exhibition has been put together by the Swiss furniture manufacturer Vitra, whose collaboration with the Eameses dates back to the 1950s. Today, Vitra is the official producer and distributor of the Eames’ creations in Europe and the Middle East.

The Eames Roadshow is brought to the Tallinn audience by Vitra’s official importer in Estonia, AS Intera, with the advice and support of the Estonian Association of Interior Architects.
