During one Saturday in May, all enthusiasts have the opportunity to take part in the abundant Lithuanian cultural program at Kolu Inn and enjoy Lithuanian cuisine.
The already established tradition of Lithuanian Day in Tallinn introduces Lithuanian ethnographic and culinary heritage.
- From 13:15 to 13:55, dancing children from Lithuania will introduce local folk dances.
- From 14:00 to 14:30 and 15:30 to 16:00, the Lithuanian ethno-collective FolkTrio will perform.
- You can also see the preparation of the Lithuanian dessert Šakotis over an open fire; Šakotis is one of the most important desserts in Lithuanian celebrations, especially at weddings, but also on other special occasions.
- Craftsmen will demonstrate how wool is felted in Lithuania.
- Local vendors will also be selling Lithuanian cheeses, smoked sausages, bread, honey, and mead.
