The Power of Things

The exhibition focuses on the late-medieval treasures in the Niguliste Museum, such as the retables from the Netherlands, Bernt Notke’s Danse Macabre, Hermen Rode’s winged altar, and the real-life objects depicted on those pieces. The exposition is united by the question of what the power and significance of things used to be.
Curators: Merike Kurisoo and Kerttu Palginõmm.
