Best restaurants in Tallinn in 2019

If you wish to experience the best food in Tallinn you should choose your next restaurant from the culinary master book White Guide Nordic. The guide divides restaurants into five categories: Global Masters Level, Masters Level, Very Fine Level, Fine Level and Good Level restaurants.   

Focus of the evaluation is on food (maximum of 40 points) while drink list (maximum of 20 points), service (maximum of 20 points) and milieu (maximum of 20 points) are also taken under consideration. Maximum points that a restaurant can receive is 100. Based on the assessment the restaurants are divided into categories.

Out of White Guide's TOP 30 Baltic restaurants, 20 are in Estonia and 15 of them in Tallinn.  

Global Masters Level restaurants

There are two Global Masters Level restaurants in Tallinn. Such restaurants must receive minimum 80 points in total and at least 36 points of them for food. NOA Chef's Hall is the best restaurant in the Baltics with 91 points. 

Masters Level restaurants

There are six Masters Level restaurants in Tallinn. These restaurants must receive minimum 75 points in total and at least 32 points of them for food.

Very Fine Level restaurants

In 2019 there are 16 very fine level restaurants in Tallinn. Restaurants receiving minimum 67 points in total and at least 28 points for food quality.

Fine Level restaurants

There are all together 13 fine level restaurants in Tallinn and in the city's surroundings. A fine level restaurant has received at least 60 points in total during the evaluation with minimum 22 points for food. 

Good Level restaurants

17 restaurants have been rated as good according to the White Guide high standards. These restaurants have received at least 41 points with minimum 17 points for food.
