Add to Favourites Your favourite!

The focus of the exhibition is on the National Archive of Estonia’s materials relating to Denmark, including their oldest record, a valuable letter from the Danish King Erik IV to his Harju-Viru and Järva vassals from 1240. You can also see rare, original footage from the Estonian War of Independence filmed by Danish volunteers.

In addition to sources from the National Archive, the exhibition also displays materials from the collections of the Tallinn City Archives, Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Library of Estonia.
