    Tallinna Raekoda (Town Hall)

Tallinn’s Town Hall, one of the most famed symbols of the city, is recognized throughout Europe as a unique architectural treasure. Established in the 13th Century, the building acquired its present appearance in 1404, and is the only surviving Gothic Town Hall in Northern Europe. Its 14th- 15th-century carved benches and 16th-century murals are rare works of art. As the city government’s ceremonial building, the Town Hall is used for official receptions and concerts. It can accommodate up to 100 persons.
