The Song Festival Grounds is the largest open-air venue in Tallinn and a perfect place to host huge events. In the summer of 2025, this venue will see superstars from all over the world take the stage and perform to tens of thousands of fans.
If you’re visiting Tallinn to attend a concert in the Song Festival Grounds, here are some tips to make your experience as stress-free as possible.
Buses 1, 5, 8, 34, 38 stop in front of the Song Festval Grounds, but many also take the tram (no 1 or 3) to Kadriorg and then walk for around 15 minutes to the venue. Tallinn public transport routes and timetables: transport.tallinn.ee.
The Song Festival Grounds to not have permanent seating areas. Most concerts taking place this summer will only have standing areas, although some may have VIP seating or wheelchair accessible areas. For more information, check the area plan for the concert you’re attending.
The Song Festival Grounds have free stationary restrooms on the left of the concert area, when facing the stage. Most events will add temporary toilets.
Bringing your own food and drinks to the concert venue is strictly forbidden. Concerts in the Song Festival Grounds will often have food and drink stands, check the concert's website for exact info.
All food and drink will be served in multi-use packaging that must be returned after use.
Most vendors will accept card payments. Some vendors might not accept cash.
The Song Festival Grounds are a large open-air area. Check the weather beforehand and dress accordingly. The ground is mostly covered in grass, so avoid sharp heels.
Avoid bringing large handbags, backpacks or luggage to the venue. Leave larger items at your hotel or to luggage holding areas in the harbour, city centre or airport.
