Aleksanteri Nevskin katedraali
Mahtipontisen koristeellinen ortodoksikirkko valmistui Tallinnaan Toompean mäelle v. 1900, jolloin Viro kuului Venäjän keisarikuntaan. Tuolloin se oli aktiivisen venäläistämispolitiikan näyte ja pystytettiin suoraan Toompean linnan eteen osoittamaan Venäjän valta-asemaa. Nyt kirkkoa ylläpitää Moskovan patriarkaatin alaisena toimiva ortodoksiseurakunta.
Kirkon sisätilat on vuorattu runsain mosaiikein ja ikonein. Sen tapuleissa on 11 kirkonkelloa, joiden joukossa myös 15 tonnia painava Tallinnan suurin kello. Kellojen soittoa voi kuulla mm. jumalanpalvelusten aikoihin.

Impressive Church
