Virun portit
Virun portin etuportti oli 1300-luvulla rakennetun Tallinnan kaupunginmuurin puolustusrakennelma, pari vuosisataa myöhemmin paikalla oli jo 8 porttia, jotka koostuivat torneista ja niitä yhdistävistä muureista. Portin päätorni oli aina neliö, etuportit oli varustettu yhdellä tai kahdella pyöreällä tornilla.
Vanhan kaupungin teiden laajennuksen seurauksena useat portit purettiin. Myös Virun portti luovutti palasen hevosväylälle, joka yhdisti Vana Turgin Kadriorgiin.
Nurkkatornit säilyivät, nähtävissä on myös osa linnakkeesta, jota kutsutaan Musumäeksi. Viru-katu, jolla on runsaasti liikkeitä ja ravintoloita, on muodostunut suosituimmaksi kävelykaduksi vanhassa kaupungissa.
