AdventureCenter Rummu

AdventureCenter Rummu welcomes its summer guests to the mysterious Rummu Lake, 45 kilometres and 45 minutes southwest from Tallinn.

During the Soviet years, there was no lake, but a quarry, where limestone was mined with the help of the nearby Murru prisoners. At the beginning of the 1990s, the quarry was closed, and the rising groundwater quickly sunk its buildings, machines and barbed wire fences, turning its trees and bushes into an underwater forest.

AdventureCentre organises guided diving and snorkeling adventures in the ruins of the sunken quarry, also known as the “Atlantis of Estonia”. The exotic views can also be admired on a surely memorable SUP tour. If you’re more into speed, you will love a ride with a motorised jetsurf board.

Transportation from Tallinn to Rummu and back can be arranged when booked in advance.
