Pikakari Beach

Located in Northern Tallinn, on the Paljassaare Peninsula, Pikakari Beach is near Katariina Quay and was originally established as part of Peter the Great's Sea Fortress battery. Today, it is one of the city's most beloved beach spots.

The beach has everything you need for a perfect beach day – a soft sandy beach, changing cabins, volleyball courts, and children's playgrounds. In the sea, the water quickly becomes deep, and the bottom is rocky for the first few meters.

The beach has also been recognized as worthy of the Blue Flag eco-label. Nearby are the Paljassaare Conservation Area and nature trail, offering a great opportunity to walk, watch birds, and enjoy seaside nature after beach fun.

Pikakari Beach has a designated area for people with mobility challenges, where a special wheelchair is available for entering the water. To ensure safe movement in the water with the wheelchair, it should only be used with a personal attendant.
