    Nõmme Museum

This museum in Nõmme's railway station tracks the history of the district and provides insight into small town life of days past.

Before Nõmme became a district of Tallinn in 1940, it was a town in its own right, mainly catering to wealthier families who used it to escape the noise and pollution of the city. The museum commemorates this now-lost, prewar Nõmme through photos and numerous household items from the first four decades of the 20th century.
