Estonian Theatre and Music Museum

The Estonian Theatre and Music Museum is located in the historical building connected to the city wall in Tallinn's Old Town and is recognizable by the medieval Assauwe Tower. The museum is unique both in its collections and its history.

The museum features an interactive exhibition "I Want to Play!" which invites visitors to explore the world of theater and music through play, creativity, and hands-on activities. The exhibition covers the entire museum building and offers plenty of opportunities for experimentation and participation.

You can try on various costumes, explore fascinating musical instruments, and take a look behind the scenes of the theatre world. You can also see how stage magic is created and participate in the creative process. Everyone can step into the role of an author, master, or performer – experiment, invent, and even step onto the stage. The museum is designed for both large and small visitors.

The museum welcomes the whole family to spend time in an inspiring and playful environment.

We invite you to visit and discover the world of theater and music!
