The Patkuli viewing platform is situated in one of the most ancient parts of Tallinn. It has an idyllic and enchanting view of the Old Town as well as its towers and walls, which can be seen all the way down to the port.
The stairway leading up to the platform was constructed in 1903. There are 157 steps connecting Toompea hill to the town below, with the stairway coming out in Toompark by Snelli pond.

Patkuli Viewing Platform is just around the corner from Kohtuotsa Viewing Point. I think Patkuli has better views and more panoramic views of Tallinn. Patkuli has steps down to Old Town.
Great views here and a lovely walk to get to the area. There is a souvenir shop nearby as well as wee stalls on the way selling drinks to snacks.
Definitely my viewin platform in Tallinn. You can see an amazing view over the old town. It’s a great place to visit in the day and night.
