Tallinn Russian Museum
The Tallinn Russian Museum, part of the Tallinn City Museum, focuses on the art and culture of the local Russian community.
The main mission of the museum is to collect, research, and introduce the cultural heritage of the city’s Russian community to a wider audience. The Tallinn Russian Museum is located in the Old Town, in a medieval building that, in 1904, served as the first location for the studio-school of Ants Laikmaa, a well-known Estonian painter.
The museum, founded in 2016, does not yet have a permanent exhibition, but you can visit the temporary displays on various topics related to the cultural history of the Russians in Tallinn.
Entrance is free with Tallinn Card.
