This museum dedicated to Eduard Vilde (1865-1933), one of Estonia’s principle writers, makes its home in his 1850s-era villa.

Vilde spent his last years living on the ground floor of this grandiose baroque house in Kadriorg Park. Several of the rooms are dedicated to displays on the writer’s work, while the rest are kept furnished and decorated just as they were while the writer lived here from 1927 to 1933. The upper floor houses a gallery with frequently changing contemporary art exhibits.

Entrance is free with Tallinn Card.
