On foot & By bicycle
Tallinn is a small and highly compact city, so the easiest way to get to most places, particularly in the Old Town and city centre, is on foot. Bicycles are another option and are a great choice for those who want to visit some of the more interesting outlying neighbourhoods, take a seaside ride or explore the city's parks, beaches and forests.

Sixt rent a bike self-service bicycle rental makes biking in Tallinn easy and stress free. Simply download a Nextbike app for your iPhone, Android or Windows phone, unlock your selected bike and you are on your way. Sixt bicycles are available in several locations around the town and the first 30 minutes of the ride are free!
You can of course rent a bike for longer periods and with various additional equipment.
Smart BIKEEP parking lots are based on Vabaduse väljak (Freedom square), in front of Tourist Information Centre (Niguliste street), corner of Toompuiestee and Nunne streets and Vana-Viru and Viru streets. Bicycles can be locked and unlocked with mobile phones. All parking areas have video surveillance.
