Taani kuninga aed
Taani kuninga aed asub Tallinna vanalinnas Toompea Niguliste-poolsel nõlval. Legendi järgi olevat 1219. aasta taanlaste vallutusretkel langenud seal taevast alla lipp, mis toonud kuningas Valdemar II-le lahinguõnne. Lipust sai hiljem Taani riigilipp ning skulptuur „Tuli lipp“ pajatabki sellest legendist.
Legende aia kohta on teisigi, kuid ilmselt andis aiale nime taanlaste enam kui 100 aastat Tallinnas ja Põhja-Eestis kestnud võim.
Kolme munga skulptuure aias täiendab valguslahendus ning infotahvel linnamüüril.
Huvitav: Igal aastal 15. juunil tähistatakse aias Dannebrogi ehk Taani lipu päeva.
