PETER BENCE

PETER BENCE, THE MOST FAMOUS SHOW PIANIST IN THE WORLD, TO PERFORM IN ESTONIA
On 4 November, Peter Bence, the world’s most famous show pianist and a virtuoso of international calibre, will perform at Alexela Concert Hall.

Peter Bence is a rocking piano virtuoso and living proof that classical music is anything but boring – his performance combines musical genres into a thrilling show. His piano arrangements of Queen, Michael Jackson, and other megastars have amassed him over 300 million video hits on the Internet. He breaks boundaries of classical and pop music with his expressive and punchy playstyle and he has performed in more than 20 countries on four continents this year alone. Bence was the opening act of BBC Proms in the Park 2017, which was attended by more than fifty thousand spectators.

Bence is the Usain Bolt of the keyboard who has no match. In 2012, the Guinness Book of World Records crowned him the fastest pianist in the world. Bence made 765 key strokes in one minute. With his powerful approach, he invites the young and the old to concert halls. His piano sounds like an orchestra; he squeezes the most out of his instrument. Bence says he experiments with everything the piano has to offer – the whole piano is involved in his playing. It is a fast-paced theatrical show. The fresh and extraordinary pop music arrangements will not leave anyone indifferent. Bence says his goal is to convince his younger audience that the piano is a cool instrument – his sold-out concerts are a proof of the fact.

Starting as early as age two, Peter Bence played his first chords and started playing back melodies of cartoons on his grandmother’s piano. Inspired by Mozart and Liszt, he composed his first works at the age of seven and released his first solo album at age eleven. Bence begun his musical education in Hungary and continued his studies at the reputable Berklee College of Music in Boston, where his meteoric rise to worldwide fame started.

Bence’s concert is a powerful experience of pop music arrangements, original music, and an amazing light show.

Tickets for Peter Bence’s Tallinn concert will be available from Piletilevi from 6 April.
