Gordon Matta-Clark: anarchitect

Gordon Matta-Clark (1943-1978) was an American conceptual artist who fundamentally changed the way we see architecture. His site-specific artworks revealed the chaos and anarchy behind the seemingly ordered system of urban planning. 

The exhibition also includes a project by Estonian artist Anu Vahtra, whose work in KUMU’s courtyard is directly inspired by the activities of Matta-Clark.
