Charity Concert "International Greeting Card"

Saturday, 24 February 2018, marked one hundred years since the proclamation of the Republic of Estonia. The 100th anniversary of independence is a major event, not only for Estonia, but also for every sovereign state. One hundred years ago, other countries recognised our independence. Today, Estonia maintains good diplomatic relations with many countries, and Tallinn has become a hub for the diplomatic and international communities.

The International Greeting Card Estonia 100 charity concert is a joint gift from Tallinn City Council, a number of foreign embassies to the Republic of Estonia, and residents and visitors to Tallinn. International Greeting Card Estonia 100 is a unique musical and cultural experience that reiterates the importance of good relations between nations and people.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Tallinn Children's Hospital Support Fund to help our youngest patients — our future.

The joint charity concert has been organised in cooperation with the embassies of the United States, Brazil, Ireland, Japan, Greece, Latvia, Romania and Belarus.

Performers include: Nationala Valahia Orchestra (Bucharest, Romania), Lykeion ton Hellenidon Veria dance group (Greece), Obi Trio (Brazil), pianist Ellen Jansson (Ireland), Horoshky National Academic Choreography Ensemble (Belarus), Silver City Bound (US), Wa League dance group (Japan), "Ziemeļu balsis” Estonian Latvian choir (Latvia).
