Spring Fair at Estonian Open Air Museum

Our ancestors have held recycling and re-use in high regard for centuries. Everything that could be fixed was fixed over and over again and the items, which had reached the end of their useful lives, were given a new form and purpose. While the people were forced to be economical and resourceful in the past due to poverty, recycling is valued for its nature conservation aspect today.

The spring fair at the Estonian Open Air Museum introduces recycling and re-use through history. Merchants have arrived from all over the country to sell good food and authentic handicraft. For the first time, there is also an antique fair for those who love old things!
