    Die Dicke Margarethe - Museum und Besucherzentrum

    Herzlich willkommen im Museum und Besucherzentrum Dicke Margarethe! Die Anlage gehört zum Welterbe der UNESCO und sie gibt einen Überblick über den Seehandel, maritime Berufe und die Navigation im Mittelalter und auch in der Zeit der Segel-, Dampf- und Motorschiffe. Insgesamt stehen den Besuchern 1000 m² Ausstellungsfläche zur Verfügung. Wichtigstes Ausstellungsstück ist das Wrack einer im Jahr 2015 im Stadtteil Kadriorg (dt. Catharinenthal) aufgefundenen, 700 Jahre alten Kogge. Zu sehen gibt es fast 70 Schiffsmodelle, von denen 17 speziell für die Ausstellung erbaut wurden, etwa 700 Gegenstände sowie 50 praktische und digitale Attraktionen.

      There is so much to do here at the Maritime Museum. The highlight is definitely going on the submarine ‘The Lembit’! There are also ships outside of the museum on the dock which you can explore and... Lesen Sie mehr Kommentare
